why, after four (five?) successful years of camping they would decide to eliminate what is arguably the most fun aspect of the festival is anyone's guess. however, for those who don't give a shit about the camping (myself) this might be a welcomed change.

this move also means the festival tickets will be less expensive.

hell yeah, this is good news for those of us who just don't have the time to go to the whole show...
plus we can do all the camping we want without having to miss good bands.

I don't know man. I liked the camping aspect of it. It gave you that grungy, i'm talking the weekend off and roughing it, while listening to awesome music, flavor. Now it's just a multiday concert. Almost like the youth fair, except music, instead of rides. I say we camp out in all your nice downtown law firm offices. LOL

haha, that is the real jungle.

I agree that the camping was what made the festival a festival, it does take you away from your normal routine...I was just saying that hopefully it'll open up the event to more people..which is good and bad.
